Today I'm here to show you how I transformed the Sapience Chair from Sentient Furniture using our modern wall coverings to make them perfectly fit into an eccentric party space in Brooklyn.
How did I customize these chairs
Handcrafted in Brooklyn, NY, the Sapience Chair perfectly combines functionality with elegance. Its geometric design with diamond-shaped supports was a fantastic starting point for the futuristic look we were going for.
- First, I decided that applying the WOWpattern to the back of the chair would provide the most dramatic effect.
- I chose one of our eccentric wallpaper designs from the XXX collection
- For media, I used a pre-pasted smooth finish paper for a glossier look. It was wetted and applied to the back.
- Additionally, we upholstered the back and seat cushions in the same pattern, the same scale, in a satin-like fabric.
- The final touch was adding black mirrored paper on the sides of the chair for a truly sophisticated look.
The result
This collaboration with Sentient Furniture was a great success, the end products enhance the ambiance of our Brooklyn party space while maintaining comfort and sophistication.
