1. GENERAL QUESTIONS
Reach out to us today! Most in-stock media samples ship within one week.
In many if not most cases you'll probably want to order a test print on more than one substrate finish and potentially at different scales to see how the vibe changes. We'll help advise on that.
Please note that because some designs are very large or very small, repeat visibility will vary. We can tailor a sample to show what you need.
We’ll collaborate closely via email or Zoom, or in person, to align on needs and timeline. Typical customization takes 3–4 weeks depending on complexity. Your design files will be reviewed by Julien and then test-printed.

WOWpapers has no minimum order requirement. Whether you’re customizing wallpaper for a single accent wall or specifying a full-scale commercial installation, you can access our bespoke wallpaper services without limitations.
Every project is printed to order, allowing us to tailor the pattern scale, color, substrate, and layout—even for smaller spaces. Whether you're sourcing customizable wallpapers for a boutique hotel, restaurant, or private residence, we’re here to collaborate, no matter the size or scope.
We don’t provide installation ourselves, but we’ll make the process seamless for your wallpaper hanger. Every order includes:
- Final panel measurements
- Detailed media specifications
- Visual proofs of your custom wallpaper
- Scaled layout diagrams for easy application
We’re also happy to recommend trusted NYC-area installers for your project or find a pro at the Wallcovering Installers Association.
WOWpapers are sold exclusively B2B to:

We offer one standard trade price, with additional discounts for large volume orders or for a designer’s personal use. When WOWpapers is also acting as the designer (e.g. creating CADs, making site visits), a design fee will apply—but Interior Designers and Architects who bring us in won’t be charged those fees directly, as they’re already doing the creative work.

2. PRODUCT PERFORMANCE & MATERIALS
No, please don't. Every screen displays color differently, and what you see digitally may not reflect the final print, especially when different substrates are involved.
Our modern wallpaper designs are printed on a variety of materials and its properties impact the final product. For example, metallic vinyl will catch the light and shimmer, while the same pattern on a soft matte surface might appear deeper, more saturated, or diffused.
To ensure you love the final result, we highly recommend ordering a sample of our wallpaper patterns you’re considering for your project. You can also stop by our NYC studio to flip through our curated sample books and see how each media option transforms the design.

Yes, Yes, Yes! WOWpapers are offered on a variety of substrates appropriate for commercial and residential use. Most of our designs are printed on Type II or Type III commercial-grade substrates, which are engineered for high-traffic environments like hotels, restaurants, and public spaces.
That means when the right media is selected:
- They’re resistant to scuffs, scratches, and general wear and tear.
- Ideal for spaces that demand both beauty and practicality.
- Our materials meet ASTM E84 standards, and are Class A fire-rated to align with safety regulations in commercial interiors.

Yes, the WOW group of materials (WOWtexture, WOWsmooth, etc.) are environmentally friendly, PVC-free materials. Several are made from post-consumer recycled polyester (old soda bottles)! Proudly made in New Jersey.
The POP group of materials are also PVC-free and Phthalate-free polyester print media that offer peel+stick materials and subtle metallic sheens.
While PVC-free materials are a preferred option, we also have vinyl substrates available when durability or special effects are required. See our media page for full details.

This depends on the print media selected. We’ve installed WOWpapers in kitchens, bathrooms, and even near pools. Let’s discuss your specific use case so we can recommend the right media for your project. See our media page for full details.
WOWpapers sources media from two preferred print media manufacturers who ensure all our preferred substrates are rated Class A according to ASTM E84 standards. We’re happy to provide manufacturer documentation upon request. Detailed specifications from the substrate manufacturers can be provided.
Low VOC and Phthalate-free materials along with a lot of other great properties make the WOW and POP series of print media great choices for concerned specifiers.
WOWpapers does not offer wallpaper rolls in the traditional sense; we offer panels that are sized to the particular surface to be covered.
This format helps us customize wallpaper layouts more accurately, especially when designing around windows, doors, or architectural features. It also makes installation smoother and eliminates pattern misalignment often seen with traditional rolls reducing waste material. YAY.
Please provide a floor plan and or an elevation so that a design can be tailored to the exact need.
WOWpaper panels vary in width based on the specific print media substrate used for the project, typically they are untrimmed 27”, 30", 54", or by special order 60" widths are available in some cases. All will require the installers to trim on-site, as they will also trim overlaps with are typically 2-3” for the double-cut method.
We welcome the challenge! Our wallpapers are fully custom, which means we can design specifically for sloped ceilings, angled walls, or any architectural quirks your space may have. The key is accurate measurements: we recommend providing a floor plan and elevation drawings, along with any photos or notes that help us understand the space. Once we have those, we will tailor the layout and pattern flow to suit your walls and ensure a seamless visual result, no matter the angles.
Most of our bespoke wallcoverings are easily cleaned with a moist cotton rag or nonabrasive wipe - basically dusting is all that's required.

We recommend sending floor plans, wall elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and any reference imagery that shows how the space will be used. CAD files are ideal, but we can also work from PDFs or clean measurements. The more context we have, the more tailored your custom wallcovering can be.
Yes—we offer digital mockups, scaled proofs, and printed strike-offs upon request. For complex or high-end custom wallcoverings, we always recommend reviewing a physical sample to approve color and finish before full production.
